Sony M4 Aqua + Pokemon Platinum = Severe Lagg

I recently bought the emulator for both my SO and I. He does not have any lagg at all, but I do (Sony M4 Aqua). Noted, he has a Nexus (insert model here, I can't remember)...

Is there any way I can decrease the lagg?

Do you have high resolution rendering on? What is frameskip set to?

UPDATE: Lordus reminded me that this phone has really bad performance for some reason. We think that they broke the scheduling badly. It actually helps if you force DraStic to only use one thread. You can do that by putting the attached file in sdcard/DraStic/config.

High resolution rendering is off, frameskip set to 9 and auto.

The file you attached helped a bit, made the game playable at least, thank you so, so much!

EDIT: Upgraded to Marshmallow, the performance seems a lot better, not perfect, but a lot better. Thanks to all
