I noticed that compressing a game to .7z substantially reduces the size of larger games compared to .zip. Are there any performance differences between the two compression types? I'm on a Galaxy Note 3, if that matters.

Also, does disabling touch on the bottom screen (via the stylus button on the upper right) have any effect on battery life?

Using compressed ROMs shouldn't really affect battery life, as the ROM just gets uncompressed when you load it.

I doubt disabling touch would affect battery life either.
