Loading ROM crashes the app

I've been trying to get Pokemon HeartGold to work for a few days, and have finally hit a wall.
The game was working, but would crash while encountering wild pokemon. I'm pretty sure it was some of the "enhancement" cheats I was using. I was trying to figure out the combination, and end up just deciding to reset and load the ROM again.
Now I'm stuck. Every time I try and load the ROM I get "Unfortunately, DraStic has stopped". I've tried clearing the cache, uninstalling and reinstalling, and I can't get this to work.
I bought the app and am downloading it from the Google Play Store.
R2.5.0.3a build 89
