Re: Troubleshooting crashes/sudden closes and other problems
I've had some minor crashes which seem to be related to shortcuts since the last update (or maybe I simply hadn't encountered it before).
I'm using uncompressed .nds files for all my ROMs, and I generally store each ROM in its own separate folder.
When I load a game via a shortcut, then exit and enter Drastic normally, when I try to change the ROM from whatever it previously had loaded from the shortcut, it's not uncommon for it to either crash back to the menu, or crash completely when I load up a new ROM from "continue from last save". It usually always works fine on the second try, but I have also noticed it occasionally crashing on start when starting a game directly from a shortcut as well now. This doesn't seem to be corrupting the autosave or anything, as far as I can tell, it still loads normally usually on the 2nd try.
It's not making it unusable or anything, but it is a minor annoyance. I've disabled notifications for the app, but haven't tried much else. I have it set to load uncompressed ROMs to the RAM, unsure if it's related, I've had the option enabled ever since it was released though.

Hi, I'm having a problem with Pokemon White, it doesn't stop crashing even when I turned off cheats, saved a state, and loaded it.

You need to make an in-game save from the game's menu and reload that from the titlescreen, not a savestate.Chuck Cult wrote: Sun Aug 09, 2020 8:15 pm Hi, I'm having a problem with Pokemon White, it doesn't stop crashing even when I turned off cheats, saved a state, and loaded it.

Same problem,
Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift
When a unit casts Thunder on 3 or more units, the app just crashes. Any fixes yet?

Re: Troubleshooting crashes/sudden closes and other problems
Hey, having an issue with my Nvidia shield portable running drastic. Used to work wonderfully, but now when I try to start a game I am sent to my home screen. I am on 4.4.2 if that matters. I was able to find a drastic demo version online and it works fine.
The app itself does not close, and it still shows when I look at my multitasking trey. This is the only crash report I have, but it could be unrelated as whatever this bug is does not cause drastic to crash.

Game: Pokémon pearl (eterna forest)
Problem: repeated crashes
Hi guys, I keep reaching a particular point of my game, and then the game keeps crashing. I did everything suggested in the FAQs but it didn't work, after which I tried to re-enable the cheats. It's still not working. I have the newest update of drastic installed.

Have you tried disabling cheats, making an in-gave save (not a savestate) and then loading the in-game save from the title screen?elderberryink wrote: Tue Aug 25, 2020 4:58 pm Phone: umidigi A5 pro
