Hi I am new to the fourm, I am having a small issue. I go to use cheats from the database but no cheats are avalable. I'm using pokemon soul silver and doing a randomized playthrough of it. I don't think this would change anything as it is the same rom at its roots. Anyhelp on the subject would be much appreciated.

So you're playing a hacked version of pokemon...
There's nothing wrong with that, lots of us here play those. But I don't think there's cheats for that.
But maybe the issue is the emulator. What's your DraStic version?

r2.4.0.0a and its pokemon soul silver, it is hacked, but thats not the problem I am having. The entire database is not showing up where it is suppose to. It may be the emulator, but I don't see why. I bought it off the playstore for $6.99 or whatever the price is for it.

The cheat listing is keyed by the game's designators in the header. If the ROM hack changes the header then it will for all intents and purposes appear to be a different game to the emulator, it'll have no idea that you want to use these cheats. It's possible to enter in custom cheats, you should try doing this.

I wouldn't mind doing this but I am not entirely sure how to do this. Could you or someone else point me in the direction of a good guide on how to do the custom cheats. I see the menu for them is right below the "Cheat database" but I am not sure of what to do beyond this point. Thanks so much for the advice. I acutually only need one cheat to get a lot of coins in pokemon casino because for some reason in SoulSilver you cant buy the coins, and can only win them from playing this silly coin game.
