Android crack. heart scale cheat. same wild keeps popping.

Enabled cheat to get a decent fire pokemon in Diamond using heart scale cheat. After tossing hearts and disabling all cheats from options menu the thing keeps showing up every wild battle. Read faq and assuming an in game save is only way to get around this, however, I've only used quick save thus far. Thoughts?
