Not at the moment. Still happening this year but we can't give any specifics yet such as a date. There will also be a Retroarch core.

So some time past by now, and I don't want to ask again for a Date so let me ask this way:
What are the left tasks to go open source

?
Isn't it just posting the source code online and stating that it's free/open source?
Thx for everything again

It depends on how you want to go open source. Drastic also uses non-open components that would conflict with some open licenses.

Hello, I'd want an update too. I bought the app on google play and I love it, but I think it would receive a second life after open sourcing.

You can't blame anyone for missing a deadline in 2020

I hope everyone is okay and able to work on the project. It's not as easy as uploading the full source code.

It won't get cancelled. That would require development of Drastic to stop, which would involve it becoming open source anyway since that would be the last thing to do if it was to be abandoned.
Yes its still in progress, its decided that the open source fork will be a Retroarch core so that users on multiple systems and not just phones can play it. There is still work left to do to properly support x86_64 on Windows and an interface still needs to be made.
