I am trying to continue my monster rancher ds game. It works on both desume and nds4droid. But when I try to load the save in drastic it gets past start up and then saves save data is corrupt and that it is initializing then tells me to exit the game.
Anyone know whats going on?

Did you make the save in desmume or nds4droid (which is based on desmume)? Sometimes there are compatibility issues that prevent migrating the saves between the emulators. This can happen in the opposite direction instead, when migrating a DraStic save to desmume. I don't know exactly why, but it could have to do with mismatches in sizes, mismatch in real-time clock, or mismatch in BIOS files. If you provide the save we could try to see if changing these things affects it.

It was made on desume and runs on both it and nds4droid which i downloaded to test the save. I wouldn't know where to upload the save file for this forum, but would share it to figure this out.

you can upload it thru google drive and/or dropbox. just make sure you make it public so we cn download it.

also, what version of desmume? i had some folks saying desmume broke 'compatibility' with drastic using ver 0.9.10

Desume version 0.9.7 and again on 0.9.10 to see if perhaps it was that.

thats a .sav file... drastic uses a .dsv format. you will need a converter to use it on drastic.

Oops sorry. That's the save, it's one of the things I was testing seeing if I could export it and make it work xD I'll post dsv when I get back from work tonight
