Can't save screen and pad layout

When i try to change the layout in any manner, after saving, globally or for the game only, after returning to the game nothing has changed no matter which screen layout i try to modify

You need to also set the game layout for the game you want to use as well "Select Screen Layout" which is above the Edit Screen Layout button.
