Yes, I am running an Acer Chromebook. I looked at the changelog for DraStic and it looks like my version is 2. 5. 1. 2a. I already un/reinstalled DraStic but that didn't seem to work, what do I need to do to get the newest version?xperia64 wrote: Sat Apr 25, 2020 5:35 pmIt's supposed to be fixed now. What version are you on? Should've been fixed in r2.5.2.2a. Do you have a Chromebook?santelio wrote: Sat Apr 25, 2020 4:56 pm Thank you! I really hope this gets resolved soon as I just downloaded DraStic today after reading rave reviews about it but it didn't work at all.

The current version is shown in the bottom right corner when you launch the app if you want to double check.santelio wrote: Sat Apr 25, 2020 6:23 pm

Thanks! It shows that I am now on r. 2. 5. 2. 1a but it is still having trouble opening ROMs.xperia64 wrote: Sat Apr 25, 2020 6:28 pmThe current version is shown in the bottom right corner when you launch the app if you want to double check.santelio wrote: Sat Apr 25, 2020 6:23 pm

Re: Read this if you have crashes on a Chromebook
If it says r2.5.2.1a, that's not the latest version. It should be r2.5.2.2a. Maybe wait another day or two.

Sure thing, does it automatically update or will I have to uninstall/reinstall again? Thanks for your help!xperia64 wrote: Sat Apr 25, 2020 6:53 pm If it says r2.5.2.1a, that's not the latest version. It should be r2.5.2.2a. Maybe wait another day or two.

Just check Google Play.
Re: Read this if you have crashes on a Chromebook
Regarding the update, due to the rampant Coronavirus scams/spam on Google Play, Google says app update approval may take up to 7 days. Sorry for the delay.
Re: Read this if you have crashes on a Chromebook
I'm on a Chromebook, Play store still has 2.5.2.1a as the latest version. Play store can take a good 5 days to get updates out though, in my experience. Is there a way to force update, if there's a phased rollout or anything?

The update hit my machine an hour ago, but the app still crashes. Got all the video tweaks shut off. Any thoughts?
Re: Read this if you have crashes on a Chromebook
So this appears to be a different crash than the one we just fixed. I didn't see it before until just know. It doesn't happen very repeatably. There's something strange going on with the graphics drivers on these Chromebooks. Have you tried un-fullscreening the app to a window, then launching a game, and re-entering full screen?BTZero wrote: Mon Apr 27, 2020 2:33 pm The update hit my machine an hour ago, but the app still crashes.
