Cheats on Pokemon Volt White 2

Hi! Loving the emulator so far! I've got about 80 hours logged across multiple games and having a blast.

Ran into my first issue with Pokemon Volt White 2. When I open the cheats page, there is nothing listed.

I opened the cheats.dat with r4cce and I can see that the game is listed with the correct ID and all the codes are in there correctly. I even tried re-adding them myself using the instructions I found on this forum. I tried several rooms, both my original that I patched using the volt white 2 patch, and a pre patched Rom I found somewhere else. Cheats are working for pokemon white and pokemon white 2.

My guess is that when drastic matches the loaded Rom with the .dat file, there is some code in the Rom to identify it as the proper Rom, but maybe it's missing in this Rom.

Anyone have an idea how to check or fix that so that the cheats will work? Many thanks!
