Crackling sounds with Ni No Kuni on Samsung Galaxy S8

Hello,
I'm getting 100% speed in Ni No Kuni (Patched ROM with the English patch) but the audio is making crackling sound. I can hear everything just fine and there's no lag or something but while the music is playing or while I'm just standing doing nothing crackling sounds can be heard and this is very annoying, especially when using earbuds.
I'm wondering if there's something I can do to solve this, thanks!

Did you try setting the audio latency to "Low"?

I've figured it out! It seems like the crackling sounds only appear when loading a save state, they do not exist when loading the game normally through a save file.
Seems like the only way to solve this issue is to not use save states but regular save files.

That suggests performance issues with the audio, setting the latency to a higher setting rather than low will eliminate crackling sounds but it sometimes introduces slight delays in the sounds. Also using a video filter other than Linear may also help.

On some devices at least, I have noticed that specifically the Linear filter (and not any other filter) seems to cause some peformance issues, more specifically some Snapdragon 808 devices, so its possible thats another reason. The filters do use Open GL so its always a possible driver issue.

I've tried that but it doesn't work.
Also, if that is the case then why are there no issues when loading normally as opposed to loading from a savestate?

Some games' audio seem to break when loading savestates, this can happen in Ace Attorney and Inazuma Eleven.

In most cases the Nintendo DS creates sound like a band, there are virtual instruments that get played to create music.
My teory is that while the save state gets created some instrument break and there could be multiple reasons.
The game was trying to load a new instrument, it was trying to produce a note or an error occurred while saving the audio state of the game. We don't really know.
