DraStic for Windows Phone
Please, mades Drastic ds for windows phone, PLEASE!!! I need DraStic !!

Re: DraStic for Windows Phone
If I am not mistaken DraStic requires code execution at runtime otherwise known as Jit compiling. So unless you can convince microsoft to allow that kind of access to it's developers of windows phone/ universal apps you probably will not see DraStic or many of the other high end emulators.
The other small issue is I do not think that microsoft would even allow an emulator in it's store. I do not think they have a kind opinion of emulation.

You can also find me on Reddit (u/Ericbazinga) and Discord (in the DraStic Discord server). You'll find me in those places almost daily and here almost never.

Yeah when on a friend's windows phone I spotted a VBA-M port in the store and it seemed to workericbazinga wrote:I have seen emulators on the Windows Store, so I guess Microsoft does allow them.TkSilver wrote:If I am not mistaken DraStic requires code execution at runtime otherwise known as Jit compiling. Re: DraStic for Windows Phone
Oh that is excellent. To be honest I have only looked at the windows app store once (to get netflix on a windows 8.1 tablet) and never really looked into the majority of the apps.ericbazinga wrote:I have seen emulators on the Windows Store, so I guess Microsoft does allow them.
Unfortunatly if DraStic requires jit to work then it still won't be able to be on a windows phone or unjailbroken ios device due to runtime code execution being not accessible to developers. BUt to be honest I would be all for a windows phone version of drastic.... especially because I am seriously considering one as my next phone.

Re: DraStic for Windows Phone
If DraStic for Windows Phone happens, do you think that it could come to Windows laptops as well? I'd love to be able to play DS games at 60 fps (desumme sucks) on my laptop!TkSilver wrote:Oh that is excellent. Re: DraStic for Windows Phone
I doubt your laptop has an ARM processor so the performance difference would be trivial. Drastic performs badly on x86 phones tooericbazinga wrote:If DraStic for Windows Phone happens, do you think that it could come to Windows laptops as well? quoting exo on this
Sorry, it's only available for Android. Appearing on the iOS app store is never going to happen since Apple doesn't allow emulators. I never really considered windows tablets as much of an interested audience for this since the higher end ones can run DeSmuME or No$GBA for free. The more recent wave of Atom Windows tablets may not fall under that category, but yours should. I'd recommend giving them a shot.
