Hi.

I have bought and tried to install this app, but keep getting a message saying that it cannot wrote files that are needed. Is this app compatible with the JXD or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks

It may have something to do with your permissions. Or you can try to erase the google play cache and reinstall.

Thanks for that.

I uninstalled, cleaned the cache, reinstalled, and it tells me that the permissions are all set etc to write to the SD card, but still:

draStic could not create the files needed for the operation. Please reinstall.

I've reinstalled 5 times
But no luck. Can anyone help??

Thanks

I have a JXD S7300b and it runs great on there. I'd recommend asking on this forum for JXD devices:

Do you have enough free space on your storage? It could be full.

Yeah there is plenty (1.5gb!) and I've installed other apps since!

Really odd and heartbreaking too as I've paid for it!

Okay, one other thing to try - this error can happen if you have something else mounting the storage space. Are you connected to anything over USB like a PC? If so you should unplug it.

Do you have root? Please check if your sd is in read only mode or read/write mode.

Ok so being a huge android novice, how do I check the read wrote state? And I'd I have installed other apps, shouldn't that be fine?

Also - how do I root the device?

Cheers for all the help so far!
