Multiple portrait layouts

Is there a way to have extra portrait layouts that can easily be switched between, similar to what you can do with landscape layouts? The basic layout with two screens above and controls below is best sometimes, but other times I prefer to have the controls in the middle, for ergonomic reasons.

I know I can set custom layouts for different games but I want to be able to change back and forth for the same game, without having to move every button up and down manually.

If this isn't possible as I suspect, then consider this a feature request. We already have 4 different layout slots for landscape, so why is there only one for portrait?

Because they are presets, not actual slots.
Having slots will be a useful features
