Blackberry Priv - Keyboard touch input detection

I've been using DraStic on the Blackberry Priv for a while now, and I'm having an issue with the touch input on the hardware keyboard being detected as a constant downward or sideways input.
This was a bug resolved in a beta release a few years back, but for some reason there seems to have been a regression? Any other Priv owners having this issue?
