Pokémon Platinum cheats not working

Hello, I bought this emulator on the Google Playstore and it works pretty well but some of the cheats don't work for some reason... I've enabled Max IVs, female and Naive nature but it doesn't seem to work except for Max IVs since the Chimchar I chose is still usually male and of random natures. Please help.
