Problem in 'Mugen no frontier EXCEED (Korean Patched)'

Post by Coop » Tue Aug 27, 2013 1:49 am

I use DraStic DS emulator 2.10a to 2.14a.

'Mugen no frontier EXCEED' is running well... - in Original 'Japanese ver.'

But KOREAN patched ROM(245MB) is not running.

After 'loading...' Screen, error message is appeared.

"Failed to initialize. please exit and restart, or reboot your device"

So I run this ROM in DESMUME on my PC..... It works well.

and "nds4droid Emulator" on my mobile phone...... It works well.

WHAT IS THE APPROPRIATE SOLUTION?

It's possible the patch changes the game ID, which makes it no longer show up in the game database. I'll have to find the patch and look at it.

Original Japanese ver. Game ID is "C6FJ D68FB77C"

But KOREAN Patched ver. Game ID is "C6FJ 38E72671"......

It's difference...

That's the CRC, not the game ID. Where did you get the Korean patch (just the patch please, don't link to a patched ROM)?

I searched the PATCH file so long time... but I couldn`t.
Just PATCHED ROM FILE was found.

No solution without `patch file`?

Try this. If you still have the orig nds bioses, place it on drastic/system.

Maybe you should search for some forums discussing drastic in your country,my friend.

We face the problem of patched rom saving in my country, too. But some masters on some forums find the solution.

I searched Korean patch for mugen no frontier EXCEED for years now and couldn't find one.
Where did you find the patched rom?

The patch file can be re-generated by having both the clean rom and the patched one. I dunno if it's as easy as if it is with GBA roms though.
