DraStic Slightly Faulty

I recently downloaded a ROM for Professor Layton and the Last Specter, which is a puzzle game. I found out that for whatever reason, I couldn't solve the first puzzle. Tapping Submit reset the puzzle, and didn't actually attempt to register if I was correct or not. I tested the exact same ROM on a different (and more laggy) emulator, and didn't encounter this issue. Which begs me to ask, has anyone else experienced issues using a ROM? And not just Layton, but any ROM in general.

Do you still have problems if you turn off multithreaded rendering? What about if you set frameskip to none?

Frame skip is turned off, and so is multi-threaded rendering. No change whatsoever. Still can't get past the first puzzle.

Last specter does reset on the first puzzle when you tap submit. Even if you haven't answered the puzzle.

Out of curiosity I went back and tested diabolical box ( I was going back through the series and had this on my device already) and it works fine.

Can you confirm that you do not have the "ignore gamecard limit" option set? That will trigger anti-piracy protections causing this problem.

I can confirm that the issue is gone when I disabled this option ! Thank you very much for your help :)
