Hello everyone,

I know this was flying around before the updates but it suddenly reappeared after the current updates. basically im experiencing a glitch when i reach the cave in Pokemon Soul Silver, after a few secs the ROM crashes and i am sent back to the emulators home screen. Same thing occurs with pokemon Platinum. I hope someone can provide some assistance on how i can fix this since i see many don't experience this anymore. Here are some screenshots. They were working fine before the updates.

My phone :- Samsung Galaxy S3

I see there are a lot of reports for SoulSilver these days, but don't seem to be for HeartGold - is that just due to everyone preferring one over the other or is there a chance HG is less glitchy? I had my tester run through HG and just assumed SS would be the same.

i mean i can try HeartGold and see how that works out. if I find anything i will report it here. Before the update i got up to the third gym in SoulSilver, after the update i can't even get past the cave.

Edit: what if i tried a patched rom, will that help in anyway?

They are basically the same game. Only pokemon differences seperate them. I believe on soul silver you get lugia earlier. Lugia is cooler but i prefer gold over silver :p.

I haven't had any freezing problems with Heart Gold since it was fixed (apart from the graphical glitches mentioned). But then again I have a proper patched ROM. And i'm not using save states either.

i am going to try a patched rom and see how that works, it probably has something to do with anti-piracy. I also see no differences, but i just chose to play soul silver.

To bypass this glitch, just save your game using the X menu and reset the rom. After you load up the saved game it should be back to normal.

Everyone has this issue, it's not game-effecting so just ignore it until it's fixed.

Hi I'm experiencing the same glitch as onesixnine on my Pokemon Heartgold Version(the cave glitch). I wanted to try playing soulsilver to see if it's just the ROM problem but since there is already a glitch reported on Soulsilver, I guess there isn't a need to try it anymore!Please look into it!Thank you! :D

P.S. Awesome app btw!!! :D

@huntereb

Thanks a lot dude, it worked. It happened again during the battle with the second hiker but then it went back to normal.

Does this occur in all caves?
