Accelerometer?

Can you use tilt input to control the dpad in drastic for racing games like Mario Kart? Seems all emulators have this option but I can't find it in drastic.

Gameboid and MyBoy had this for GBA games for Left/right tilt for left/right on the D-Pad, I reckon that would be rather cool, However you aren't going to get analouge steering like you would in an android racing game (tilt a bit steer a bit, tilt a lot steer a lot), if tilt controls are added, tilting would make steering full left or full right, somewhat awkard.

However for have the accelerometer up down left right to be mapped to keys would still be cool, like tilt to move your character on Pokemon

I asked Lordus and he says that when we have Lua support (which is in process) it'll be possible to enable acceleration based controls that way.

Why is Lua required o.O thats just a scripting language isnt it?

It's not required, but you can use it to implement that functionality with a simple script.
With a script you can also tune all the parameters to your liking, or depending on the game you want to use it for, without needing a bunch of different settings added to the option menu.

Will you be able to add some presets or built in scripts to enable the functionality the OP asked for though?
