Homescreen game specific short cuts with game icons

What ever happened to being able to make a bookmark or shortcut on the home screen using the DS game icon? I used to have a FFTA2 icon on my home screen, but I cant seem to remember how to do that anymore.

load new game->pick a game->create shortcut
