Hey, I've just purchased the emulator on play store and tried playing Heart Gold and Platinum, and they both run smoothly with zero lag. But as soon as I get to the first battle, in both games, they get stuck at the end of the battle, with the final attack. The game freezes and I need to restart.

EDIT: Found a fix after a quick search.. all you need to do is enable sound in the options. I were playing with the sound disabled, and as soon as the game tried to play the fainted pkmn sound, it froze.

EDIT 2: There's another glitch, when all the sprites in the game turn into a pixilated mess and you need save in-game and restart to fix it. This problem seems to appear only in Heart Gold, been playing Platinum for the last half an hour without any problems. Heart Gold, on the other hand, is impossible to play due to this glitch, can't proceed further in game.

To your first sound problem. Yea i can confirm that now LOL
If a pkm dies and the sound is disabled, the game feeezes

To your 2nd problem: i ONLY have that pixel issue, if there are cheats enabled.
As soon as i disabled it- the pixel error was gone (never came up again)

I have my cheats disabled and the pixels are still showing quite often.

Oh well my bad- now they appear quite often too :-/ )
Im playing SoulSilver btw.
So yea it seems to be related to that version since in PkmBlack there are to issues like this.


Edit: oh.lol pokemon SoulSilver gets the pixel error and crashes when i go into a cave...
Edit2: same at tunnels lol... cant get to the first badge because of it...

Same here. I think the build that have more than one exit are causing glitches...
Pokemon Diamond or Pearl are playable?

Same here. Any time I go into a tunnel I get the glitches, then crash. Also occasionally after a battle, but reloading usually fixes this one.

Please fix Soul Silver and Heart Gold Exo in the next release

You can still play Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, Black and White!

I can confirm that it freezes at the last attack when the sound is disabled.

Does it really need fixing? If you just enable sound and then turn it down it still works right?

This problem occurs on DeSmuME and No$gba also. It is the game's fault. It used to stop pokemon on nds4droid because some sound code was unknowingly disabled, but I notified Jeffq and he fixed it. But why would you disable sound anyways, the emulator is fast enough with it enabled, and you can mute your device.
