Ore Ga Omae O Mamoru (I Will Protect You) doesn't work?

When I try to run this game, all I get are 2 white screens staring back at me.
Can someone confirm if this game(a Japanese only Metroidvania style platformer) is working or not? Thanks!

It looks like another timing problem. Should have workaround for this too in next version/beta.
