Can't kind a way to import .sav files from RetroArch's MelonDS into DraStic emulator

I have tried the following:

- Renaming the .sav to .dsv
- Using the following website to concert .sav to .dsv

- Using this tool to convert .sav to .dsv

- Importing Backup Memory in DeSmuME and saving a DSV file in game

Afterwhich I added the DSV file into the backup folder of DraStic.

The game in question is Pokemon HeartGold. When I load the the rom, the game is recognised as a new game with no save files.

HELP!
