Citra MMJ has Multipler Why No Drastic?

So a forked version of Citra Android, A 3DS Emulator has a multiplayer feature so why not drastic? I mean lets be real here 3DS is a bit more complicated to implement and its been added by a single guy named "Weihouya". On there you can actually play not only lan multiplayer but online as well! And one more surprising fact that Citra MMJ is totally free!(Not that it matters) Its been nearly a decade and with hundreds if not thousands of people requesting this feature, why not add it? I think adding this feature would absolutely shock the emulation scene massively!
