Lua Compatibility

Hi,
I was just wondering since I cant seem to google it anywhere, are Lua scripts for DraStic and DeSmuMe interchangeable? In other words, I have a Lua script that someone made for DeSmuMe and I'm wondering if there's something I have to do to use it in DraStic as well. Sorry if this is a dumb question, I'm not a programmer or anything lol just a guy trying to play Metroid Prime Hunters w/o using the touchscreen
