Savestate crash on load

I'm having an issue with a savestate I just created and tried to reload for Zelda Spirit Tracks. Game loads fine, the saved game loads fine, other games load fine, other savestates for this game load fine, but when I try to load the savestate, it crashes the app immediately. I've been overwriting and reloading all day without issue. I'm not seeing the crash reporter pop up either, is there any way to pull a log or examine the savestate file itself?
