Sorry but the emulator bugging out when saving on cracked versions is deliberate. There is a demo version (30 minutes) - it doesn't have saving, but that kind of makes sense, if you could save you could just keep saving every 30 minutes to play your games.

Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey ingame save won't load since update. Other games are fine.

Here are my save game issues:
Dragon quest 4
Dragon Quest 9
dragon quest 5
final fantasy tactics a2
The all have an error message: Failed to initialize or Quick start is corrupted(DQ9) turn off device and on, Thus preventing me from playing the games. My drastic is updated to the latest Google play version.

I got DQ9 to work by getting a different copy(it seems the euro rom has an issue on some other emus and i dint know if mine was the eur one so i got the USA patched one and it worked skipping the quicksave error corrupted) as for the other games they simply go to the black screen cant initialize error, im d/l new USA copies of them just in case (my cat destroyed my dstwo and almost the 3dsxl so im using drastic as main replacement till i get a dstwo). and ill try the beta then also
Beta loads the games and saves(even the old copy I had of DQ9).
Ill try my other games That were running fine under the normal play version for any issues, thanks a lot

The Spanish translation of 999 doesn't saves.
Edit: I solved it. Searching arround I supossed that there was a problem with the game_database.xml file, so I added these lines to it and now works perfectly:

Hey everyone, I just recovered from a scary savestate problem myself, which has lead me to register an account to post this question.
What is the absolute safest/best way to make a safe in Pokemon White 2? Should I only save from the in-game menu, or use the save/load function from the Drastic menu?
