Pokemon diamond cheats? (S10)

So I bought drastic a day or two ago and loaded up pokemon diamond, one of my favorite childhood games. I found out there was cheats and decided to try them out, but none of them seem to work. I've tried restarting/redownloading the app, disabling and enabling cheats, toggling all sorts of things to no avail. nothing really seems to make the cheats work. is it a bug? I'm not upset I was just curious.
