Credit Lordus, he's the one who did all of those things and everything Android relatedAmici wrote:Newest beta version implements mapping of special keys like quick save, load and fastforward to physical keys. I bound my Note 2's "back button" to fastforward. Perfect so far, exactly what I had in mind when I requested this feature. Hopefully it can also be bound to a touchscreen button instead of a physical key for those with limited choices for physical key mapping.
This emulator never ceases to impress me. Great f***ing job Exo!

Re: Potential new DraStic features?
Emulator is really demanding enough without trying to render to higher resolutions.. there are all sorts of things that make that problematic on DS (hence why it's not something other emulators have done yet)cloud1250000 wrote:Is it possible to get high resolution?

Re: Potential new DraStic features?
Would be useful:
-diagonal move en/disable for jumping games (but to tell the truth platform games on Drastic are more playable regarding control than 99%of Android platform ggames.)
-Fast forward speed cap
-removable and resizeable menu button
-Maybe it shows the covers of games in the list.
And the Drastic will be perfect for me (now is close to perfect)

Both will be in the next version.leonkennedy wrote:Would be useful:

Not sure if this one is or isn't, Lordus will have to comment.leonkennedy wrote:-removable and resizeable menu button
Next version shows game icons at least, since those are stored in the game ROM itself.leonkennedy wrote:-Maybe it shows the covers of games in the list.

Re: Potential new DraStic features?
Not a feature per se but a suggestion nontheless:
When I make a quick-save in a game, every time I start that game I'm asked if I want to load that save state. The first time around I guess it makes sense but after saying 'no' the first time I guess that question is not needed anymore and kinda gets annoying; especially because it seems there's no way to delete that save Insider DraStic.
So it would be good if DraStic only asked that question once for a save or if at least there was an option to deactivate that question altogether.

Re: Potential new DraStic features?
a good way around this at the moment is to make games shortcuts on the desktop (long press on a rom's name) and untick "load last save when launching from shortcuts". Besides, you can then make a folder with all your games and use a ds icon for the folder after that, and assign games artwork to the shortcuts!

Re: Potential new DraStic features?
Only feature I would like (that is easy and within reason) is some sort of better support for the tapping (Great or Excellent!) in Mario RPG BiS, PiT, or SS.
