It'd be really nice to be able to change the color of the background behind the ds screens or add some sort of option for screen border (like the orange borders in the screen layout mode). When playing a game where the touch screen is your effective d-pad and the color displayed on that screen is black, determining where the edge of the screen is becomes a guessing game.
