I'm very confused I did a save state half way through a cave entrance when it was still loading and it now cannot load anything but the sound. please help.

You should've known that save states aren't always reliable especially on games like Pokemon. Exo and Lordus didn't put up such a warning for no reason.

There is nearly no reason.whatsoever to use save states in pokemon games. U can save almost literally everywhere. If u save state in battle the RNG has already been set, therefore making the savestate useless.
