Will Drastic ever be updated for scoped storage?

External storage hasn't worked since the launch of Android 11.

I wouldn't call actively supporting a product for 8+ years "taking the money and running." No idea what's going on the last year or two with the lack of updates, but I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt. But where he is? Drastic is on the verge of removal in google playstore. Plus, he's actively contributed a lot to the emulation community, I feel like it's not cool to take the piss out of him like that, even if it's frustrating.
Not to mention, it's only going to get more broken as time goes on.
