I've found a trick to Scoped Storage on android 11 for non-rooted users:

ONLY WORK ON INTERNAL STORAGE!

1 - Just create a new file on internal storage root folder with any name. Only the extension NEEDS to be ".nds" (without quotes).
2 - Do it and open drastic, now he will recognize internal storage root folder.
3 - Be happy! ;)

I just tried this, doesn't work. When you say "new file" you mean like making a text file, and renaming the extension to .nds?

Yes, basically.
So where do I place the file? Is there a screenshot to use as reference?

Based on what he wrote, you put the file at the root of internal storage:. AKA at the very top of the internal storage

Just tried this and it worked.

I just copied a rom (*.nds file) to the Internal Storage root directory.

Used Google Files file manager to do it.
