The problem is the screens appear a different size in the layout settings menu and even if I try to put the directional and xyba buttons a bit further down below the position they are originally, they actually appear furt...

Sorry but I don't consider that "a solution". Depends on the games. Besides, this isn't free, so deal with it doesn't cut it.

Check again. Annoying to want to touch the screen and keep pressing the overlay buttons.
