Re: can't use MIC on mario & luigi : dowser's inside story
it's just a bit weirdly designed, the red cross just means that the sound isn't being produced at the moment; you need to hold your finger on the button for as long as you need the "blow" noise produced. It should work with and without the device microphone enabled; it's just a bit of a weird button...

Re: Legend of Zelda Phantom Hourglass problem
Ahah... dang, that's not very glorious. I remembered having read about this and didn't look any further! That's quite embarrassing!
I've figured it out though, and I can confirm it works too! Now I'm going to hang my head in shame forever.

Re: can't use MIC on mario & luigi : dowser's inside story
On a side note, I've noticed that the button registers as a screen touch as well, which can be disruptive (for example in zelda, it makes link move at the same time which can be annoying)

Re: ability to move app to sdcard
While most of the (uselful) data is actually stored on sdcard/drastic/ now, I agree with this: it would be nice, especially for low end devices like the xperia play for which each byte on the internal storage counts!

Re: Legend of Zelda Phantom Hourglass problem
Sorry, I don't have a dropbox account!
That said, I just tried and it downloaded fine, but you have to temporarily allow popups for that website.
Should I try to upload it again somewhere else?
edit: Here's another one

Re: Potential new DraStic features?
a good way around this at the moment is to make games shortcuts on the desktop (long press on a rom's name) and untick "load last save when launching from shortcuts". Besides, you can then make a folder with all your games and use a ds icon for the folder after that, and assign games artwork to the ...

Re: DraStic 2.1.6
Ha, the different changelog is excellent. :D I think you have it right by expecting different things of Android users; while they tend to like tech stuff too, typically I prefer simple emulators like n64oid to the complexity of MupenAE. I would be ready to go through millions of settings on a comput...

Re: DraStic 2.1.6
Great!
It's amazing to see how far the emulator has come in one month only, especially seeing as it was close to perfect when it came out!

Re: DraStic 2.1.6
Really like the roboto font, icons and microphone button in that last version! Would you consider that PIE-like menu button now that it's getting a bit crowded? ;) Also would still love a notification to jump in and out of the emulator! And finally, any plans for a Gingerbread-compatible Xperia play...
