Re: Eric and Huckelberrypie Discuss Nintendo's corporate nature
Heh, some anti-piracy guys would love to do it. Thankfully the medium works the way it works, or else a lot of digital content would simply disappear.

Re: Eric and Huckelberrypie Discuss Nintendo's corporate nature
I'm not into the main subject, but about AM2R: DoctorM64 put several updates, betas and stuff along the years. He put a a 1 month timer, to end on Metroid's birthday, which people always talked about every time Federation Force came about. He launched it, to much praise, and only then got C&D'ed. Ma...

Re: It seems that there is no development? (No New Releases)
Please consider removing untying it from Google Play when it happens. It would make far easier to run on unsuported devices, and independent from DRM stuff.

Re: Nintendo Switch
Nah Jay, pocket money is just an expression. My case is more of third world exporting from first world problems. Hard to justify buying new, vanity items when it's cheaper to export two refurbished consoles to get one fully working than to buy one as dubiously acquired from grey market sellers. Big ...

Re: Nintendo Switch
Oof, forgot about used/old. Nothing better than grabbing a old gen console and all it's good stuff with pocket money.

Re: Nintendo Switch
Switch will probably follow the same pattern of 3DS: Nintendoomed for a year or so, then titles drop and it becomes the best console ever. Nintendo can fumble around for as long as they want, drop Pokémon Re: DP and roll on money. Personally I hope that someday I can buy it for some sensible amount ...

Re: Wii to Emulator possible?
You can connect to a real GameCube in Dolphin ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UG9esDpTuPA ), so maybe DS-Dolphin works. Cross-emu should be just a fancy multiplayer, so same problems.

Re: Theory regarding multiplayer
This is more of an accuracy question. An emulator doesn't need to do the exact same stuff that the real hardware do to play a game. However, you still need to do a level of basic stuff right to get anywhere. Emulators like DraStic, DeSmuME and No$GBA, along many others, skip several steps in order t...

Re: How often do you use savestates?
True. I lost progression several times by relying on savestates only, and when you save every other minute that's a lot of dices to play.
Outside of number roulette (which can be fixed with better tools) there's no much reason for me on Pokémon. Not breaking post-game also make it a easy choice.
