Re: Just a suggestion...

The bots already wait after registering before posting.. and the last thing I want to do is punish anyone for not knowing Pokemon :/ Based on what I've observed the spam seems to be coming from a single source. Blanket-banning a country or two isn't an option either, given how there are some legit ...

Re: Just a suggestion...

I got this mod: https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/mod/advanced_block_mod/ and started on installing it but it's a huge pain, you have to manually edit several files and the instructions aren't really clear :| I'll try to work on it later. I added another security question, but I'm really having a ...

Re: Just a suggestion...

And almost no sooner than you post this do we get hit with dozens of spam messages. Normally when they get through just a few things get posted. I really don't want to set a tight frequency post limit for new posters but I also really don't want to have to manually remove a ton of spam :/ I'm guess...

Re: Run Drastic on PC

The overhead of running a virtual machine should mainly be at the OS level, if at all. DraStic shouldn't speend too much time interacting with the OS, although it uses OpenGL ES to scale the screens and apply filters, so the VMed OS will need a good bridge to OpenGL for this to work/not cause a big...

Yeah, saw the commit and SVN builds on Desmume's Sourceforge page. At least that issue's finally over on their end. :)

Epic lulz at Holden for doing the seemingly impossible. Too bad he didn't continue on with his work though.

Re: 64bits CPUs - Apple's been there again

I have to admit, even thought it's hard since I'm surely not one of apple's biggest fans, that they usually dictates the trends. Now comes the 64bits chips. How much of a improvement this could be to us? Developing to iOS's chip is something, and coding to Androids hundreds of devices is another to...
