Just a question...

Since the DS is an ARM-powered device, I was wondering as to how vastly different the architecture/instruction set is compared to the ARMs used on Androids, and if it actually aids in speeding up emulation.

Re: Compatability

I take it back, it's not timing, it's because of the deferred 2D rendering in DraStic. The game changes VRAM mid-frame which is not handled properly. Golden Sun does it too, but it does it via HDMA which is detected, this just writes to a VRAM-based framebuffer. It looks like it writes to and flips ...

Hurr durr, it's yet another example of a rushed cash-in made to cater to them kids regardless of quality. It loads up properly on Desmume from what I've observed, though. Not surprised with the timing issues either.

Re: Star Wars - The Clone Wars - Jedi Alliance

I think this game has some kind of anti-piracy that is breaking emulators too, since it doesn't work on some flash carts or DeSmuME. It could be like Rabbids Go Home, relying very closely on gamecard timing.

Kinda' like the vuvuzela failsafe Ubisoft built into Michael Jackson: The Experience , eh ...

Re: WHO LOVES ANIME?

Well, regardless of what forum software you use spambots still manage to slip past the cracks. I never had a bot problem ever since I used a bunch of spam blacklist mods on my PHPBB board. Only prob is that they can be quite a pain to install.

Yes but Phpbb is very insecure and is full of ...

Re: Star Wars - The Clone Wars - Jedi Alliance

I can't get this game to run. Tried zipped and unzipped. It gets past the title screen, past the profile screen, and then when you actually start the game, it goes to black. Cheats are off as is multi-threaded 3d graphics.

Playing on a JXD 7800. Only game I can't get to run.

Thanks.

In what ...

Re: Compatability

Here's another one I tested out of random (yeah, I have a preference for children's games, but I'm not that much into Hobbie myself):

Game Title: Holly Hobbie and Friends
Device: Lenovo A369i (Mediatek MT6572/512MB RAM)
DraStic version: 2.2.1.2 demo
Report: Sprites suffer from flickering, even ...

Re: Just a suggestion...

You probably got this from IRC, but for what it's worth we're already on phpBB3. It was 3.0.11, but I upgraded to 3.0.12.

It turns out I don't even have founder status, the owner of the web space set it up for me and has it, and that's probably why I'm not able to install AutoMOD. Hopefully the ...

The bots already wait after registering before posting.. and the last thing I want to do is punish anyone for not knowing Pokemon :/

Based on what I've observed the spam seems to be coming from a single source. Blanket-banning a country or two isn't an option either, given how there are some ...
