Re: NES emulator on the Genesis
Wouldn't emulating GB(C) games on the Advance be pointless, or was this due to GB support being dropped on the Micro?

Re: Compatability
So it's safe to say that Webfoot pretty much screwed up with writing the engine they used for the American Girl games, eh? Hard to say exactly, probably they are doing it this way on accident, but it probably also relies on a well defined feature of the DS that we're just not emulating properly. A ...

Re: NES emulator on the Genesis
Not sure if I can vouch on that, but regardless it's lulzy to see a GBC emulate the NES.
Which reminds me: There has been a NES emulator for the GBA, amd I was wondering if they used ZSNES-esque speed hacks and/or HLE for games to be playable.

NES emulator on the Genesis
I've heard about Sonic programmer Yuji Naka writing an NES emulator for the Genesis back in 1990, i.e. as a proof-of-concept or for the lulz: TNL: Rumors have it that you even programmed a Famicom emulator for the Megadrive at one point in time, for your personal amusement. Is this true? Naka: Oh my...

You're welcome dude. I'm more than willing to buy your emu, well, mostly since you did a 'swell job at making it run fast on low-end, budget devices.Exophase wrote:Thanks, I'll check this out some time.

Re: Ps2 emulator android - possible?
I've yet to actually see a mobile SoC that has main RAM latency anywhere close to as low as an x86 desktop/laptop. The latency you get due to propagation delay (time it takes to go from the RAM chip to the CPU chip) is actually very small even on a desktop motherboard, for copper wiring it's only a...

Re: android phone supports flash
It should work on the default browser, but that depends on your device. If not you can try opening a flash-enabled website on Firefox.

Re: How powerful does a CPU need to be to accurate emulate S
If you guessed 3 Ghz you'd be right! This is a nice little article that looks into the balance that emulators try to strike between speed and accuracy. Generally it's preferable to sacrifice a little fidelity to make a game playable, but there can be downsides as well. YMMV, but if you're a develop...
