Pokemon Omega Ruby is a 3DS game, this is an NDS emulator. Renaming won't make it work. Nothing will make it work. The closest to 3DS emulation currently achieved is this: https://www.facebook.com/citra.emu

I played all the way to Red on Mt. Silver on a clean ROM with no crashes, it has been fixed.

Sarcasm? Because it'll take years to get 30fps, unless within the next year they start making phones with x64- or x86-based PC CPUs, which dolphin is coded for.

I personally prefer linux over windows, especially over windows 8. sorry if it's just me, but when I upgraded to a new laptop with windows 8, it was formatted right away. What's the difference with patched and Unpatched?

The patched version is to work around some copy-protection stuff they put in the ROM so it wouldn't work on flashcarts. But to the best of my knowledge it's not necessary for getting the game working in the emulator, at least as of the current ...

my scenario is.. after 500 years and no one gives a penny about android or nintendo ds and google, drastic is gone and so is anyone with the source, but if i still have it in my ( lets say im alive ) old android phone, would it still run and be able to play? :D
