Re: WiFi-Feature Source Code maybe found

Got it. If I remember correctly people used nocash's spec to add DSi stuff, so who knows. I always wonder how is the scene relationship, as some stuff goes back several years.

Re: WiFi-Feature Source Code maybe found

Love this thread. I understand using the code from melonDS would be in violation of GPL, so he is going to need to come up with his own implementation or derivative. Do you know about these licences? I couldn't find anything conclusive on this subject, but so far it seems that derivative works retai...

Re: Mario and Luigi BiS: How to do more then OK flame dmg as giga bowser?

Been quite a lot since I played it, but the noise must be only a small file and the flames expect a longer, continuous sound. If mashing/turbo doesn't work and you can't set your phone mic for it you'll have to wait some fix.

Mind upping your save for a test?

Re: WiFi-Feature Source Code maybe found

Damn, necrobump city here. There's nothing to leak since the code is available here: https://github.com/StapleButter/melonDS Outside of reverse enginnering, which seems like a grey area, he can't implement it without providing his source code. Doing so will probably spawn copies and hurt his revenue...

Re: Broke updates and stuff after removing DownloadProviderUI.apk

Thanks, doing a "reflash" right now. Hopefully when I think about doing this again I can find this topic with your explanation, and at least having the foresight of doing a proper backup before.

Re: Broke updates and stuff after removing DownloadProviderUI.apk

Not very smart since I already did I it before with similar results. Even less so when you're able to do full backups. Does removing my account work? I couldn't since there's only mine, and I need a fallback from what I've read. Just for future debugging, since my vibrator is messed up and I need to...

Broke updates and stuff after removing DownloadProviderUI.apk

Despite having gone through this before, yesterday I smartly tried again to remove the Downloads app from my phone (Android 4.4.4). Downloads such as Play Store and Drive were obviosly broken, and restoring the app doesn't fix stuff, along with cleaning data, caches and restarts. Since I also didn't...

Re: Can't see Drastic folder on PC and save problem

Can you see the files on your phone with a flie browser? I assume that your phone is connecting to your PC using MTP, which is middling at best. You can also use Airdroid or similar apps (I use Websharing) to browse and transfer them wirelessly and avoid these problems.

Interesting. Is this license check done by Google or you?

Re: Wifi on drastic?

Strict timing requirements means online is out, but maybe bluetooth can reach it. Dunno how low it can get, and if it's worth over Wi-Fi in regards to power usage.

AFAIK there's no documentation outside the code, which brings license woes.
