I agree with you, specially since NO$GBA and Desmume have RAM viewing tools, it would be nice for a mobile emu to have those features too. (I'm not sure if Desmume has a RAM viewing tool, correct me if I am wrong)

Try applying and then saving the layout for that game, and those buttons should be gone.

Maybe the randomizer did some weird stuff to the ROM data that made it unreadable by the emu. I am sorry, but I think the randomizer thrashed your ROM file.

Did you granted the Storage perm to Drastic on your new phone? Maybe it can't read the files cuz it can't access the storage in the first place. And maybe try backing up the Drastic folder on your old phone and overwriting the Drastic folder on your new phone with that backup. I had to do that once ...
