Re: Possible workarounds for missing ROM issues

Is this related to Scoped Storage affected users? My phone forcibly updated to Android 11 and SS essentially rendered DraStic unusable due to this. ROMs cannot be accessed.

Re: android 11 storage issue

Yeah, I don't see this being fixed anytime soon. This thread started last November or so, and it's been six months roughly speaking, I'm pretty sure the devs of Drastic don't have enough Android 11 users to care or justify fixing it.

I just tried this, doesn't work. When you say "new file" you mean like making a text file, and renaming the extension to .nds?
Yes, basically.
So where do I place the file? Is there a screenshot to use as reference?

Re: App can't read SD Card files

I mean... Total Commander file browser has a great open as setting I suspect is a good workaround. I know I can use it to open .nds directly into drastic... Havent tested it on Android 11. But worth a shot. Same issue here. I have tried it. But the commander file browser don't show me DraStic as an...

Are you using Android 11? If so, you are gonna have to wait for a future update to solve this issue.
That's...quite weird, as my phone forced an update without me realizing it. So yeah, thanks Google, I hate it.

Games do not show up on Galaxy S20 FE

So, I upgraded to a new phone and this thing is an absolute emulation beast; N64, PSP, PS1, you name it all run full speed and it's a joy to run. However, I've been using Google and apparently, Android 11 broke the way some apps access data, in this case, my fully licensed version of DraStic. I've t...

Re: Are auto updates possible?

Gaah, sorry for creating confusion, I really should learn how these things work, I'm still relatively new to Android as this is my first real gaming tablet (and a good one at that), so once again, I apologize for being a noob and I apologize for making this trivial thread. Maybe I could have asked i...

Re: Are auto updates possible?

Sometimes it can take a while for google play services which handle quite a few things not just the store to check for updates. You can always update manually too by going to the play store page and clicking the update button while connected to wifi. If you still have issues even doing the manual u...
