Re: drastic_dldi.img Setup on device [ROOT ONLY]

Hello. I have rooted android device with DraStic installed on it. I wanted to play some homebrew games but this is the only tutorial and I don't understand anything (Mainly terminology like: CD or DD), so please can you explain those for me? Re: If a SNES emulator ROM works on DraStic?

As far as I know, most homebrew should work on Drastic DS, but it would be cumbersome considering you need to generate a drastic_dldi.img virtual filesystem to put roms on, you would either need Linux or a rooted phone (https://drastic-ds.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=2082) It would be easier to just use...

Re: Stuttering and audio hiccups with LG G6

Any chance anyone knows what could be causing this? I've never had these sort of issues even with lower end devices.

Re: Stuttering and audio hiccups with LG G6

I am still fairly certain this is the big.LITTLE CPU scheduler/governor being terrible. Try downloading some single threaded benchmarking/stress software, and disable frameskip to really see the difference. I picked "CPU Load Generator" from Google Play at random. With no additional load to keep th...

Re: Stuttering and audio hiccups with LG G6

If the latecy doesn't help and you get particularily laggy audio when going through transitions in games, you may be running the game off an external MicroSD card that is too slow or you are playing the game from a zip file (unzipping it to the NDS file may help). Latency changes had minimal impact...

Stuttering and audio hiccups with LG G6

Not sure what the issue is. I've run the emulator fine on much less powerful hardware, but I'm having issues on the LG G6. It's got a Snapdragon 821 so should be more than powerful enough. Is there some setting I'm missing that could be causing this?

Re: Microphone bug re:Mario & Luigi

Enable real mic or simulated mic but not both. I believe real mic is on by default if detected, so make sure to disable it if you're assigning mic to a button.

Re: Will there be any further optimization of Intel in the future?

It's possible that it'll have x86-64 support eventually (Google is going to require it if x86 is supported at all), and it's possible if it does it'll be slightly faster than current. That's about it I'm afraid. Sounds good, thanks for the heads up. This tablet (Asus Zenpad s8.0) won't be my primar...
