Being that the game requires you use the touch screen to navigate through the entire game, it's really hard to play on a small phone. Is there anyway to enable physical controls ?

If you have a gamepad you can map the buttons and they will not appear on the screen.
OBJECTION!

Aside from screen lag and maybe a fat thumb, it's as hard as it was on a DS. Maybe some people can resonate better with touch controls, and as one of those I had no problems playing either Phantom Hourglass or Spirt Tracks.

Feels like aiming on Prime Hunters by touch, or in Prime Trilogy with motion controls. Some love it, some hate it.

You could try a Capacitive touch screen stylus. If they are two wide, you can buy thin style ones (they have a metal ball with rubber disc on the bottom).
