Chrono Trigger Invalid Save

Hi Drastic community I can't seem to play my Chrono Trigger because it is stuck on a screen with a button and text saying "Initializing save file memory.Do not turn the power off." I have tried re-downloading a rom and have had no success. Thank you for your help!

What region is the ROM? Has it been modified in some way, like with a patch?
If it's a normal region and it's unmodified you might be missing the game database. It could help to reinstall DraStic from the Play store.
