Game resete- have to start from the beginning (Pokemon B2)

Hey guys, I was playing Pokemon Black 2 and I wanted to activate a season cheat, so i did, saved the game ( with the drastic ds option), saved the game normal and then I restet the game. Suddenly all my progress was deleted and i had to start from the beginning. My savefile is still on my phone in the backup folder..
pls help.

Are you loading from a savestate when loading the ROM? If you made an in-game save the game should see it if you don't load from a savestate.

No, I just start the game by opening the emulator and selecting the ROM. I don't know why I have to start from the beginning. it is not the first time that I used the cheat.

Most cheats on pokemon games require the use of the ingame save option, not savestates. Savestates effectively lock everything used in memory at that point. Good for most other games but terrible for pokemon.
