Hello, i have a problem trying to activate the "Battle The Pokemon You Want" cheat, i'm playing Pokemon Soulsilver and i want to catch a Scyther (i got a Pinsir on bug-catching contest).
On Cheat Database menu i did turn on "Use Either Hold L/R for Encounter" and selected Scyther on "Wild Pokemon Modifier - Generation 1".
The problem is, when i press L or R nothing happens in game, how does this work exactly?
I'm playing on my Nexus 5x (i don't know if this information is relevant).

I believe that the first Pokemon you find in the grass will be a scyther.
